Whether you’re just starting out, or you’ve been at it for a while, it can feel like there’s nothing new to say.
During our time together, we’ll sit down and talk about what we do and where writing feels hard. Then, I’ll share points of inspiration and we’ll take time to write about our businesses and brands in a way that feels fun, unusual and fresh.
Afterwards you'll get to spend some time with Amy for a 15 minute photo session where she will guide you through posing and make sure you don’t have that “I’m so awkward at this” feeling!
At the end of the day you'll be going home with new words to share alongside your branding photos, as well as creative ways of approaching writing for your brand, your business, and yourself.

I am a queer, neurodivergent, mother, artist and entrepreneur. My award-nominated creative writing has been published throughout North America.
I love walking in the woods with my dog, doing crafts with my kid, reading romance novels and watching horrible reality television with my husband.
As both a business owner and a writer, my true gift is an abundance of inspiration, which I share with others through my work at Writers in Bloom. Whether you don’t think you’re a writer, you secretly want to be one, or you’ve been writing your entire life, I want to create alongside you.
My motto is: There is no wrong way to write.
I've been a photographer for over 10 years, but it was when I started focusing on growth-focused, what-I-do-matters kind of people that I really found the real joy!
When I connect with someone who knows that what they do matters, and are sharing it with the world, that’s what lights me up!
Entrepreneurs who are investing in themselves and are showing up authentically, ready to uplift others in their own way and connect with those meant for their light ARE MY PEOPLE.
My approach to your branding photo shoot is relaxed and fun - because if we're not having fun what's the point?
I’ve bounced around Canada, lived coast to coast before settling in Ottawa with my sports-photographer husband and our two wild kiddos.

What payment types are accepted?
With the covid situation changing so rapidly, we’ll let you know if we’ll be requiring participants to wear a mask the week before the event. Please know our priority is to keep you healthy and safe.
Masks can be removed during the photo shoot.

You will be provided with an invoice/receipt for your accounting purposes.

Lunch will be catered by Hungry Babe and you will be able to choose what you'd prefer when completing the sign up form.

As there are a very limited number of spots for this workshop we will not be providing refunds after reserving your spot.
If you are unable to attend you can transfer your place to someone else. We will also do our best to fill your spot for you.
