'Tis the season for holiday prep if you're a business owner!
I know in the real world everyone says it comes too soon, but if you've gone through at least one entrepreneurial holiday season I don't need to tell you that sooner is better when it comes to getting your content planned.
So in the spirit of that here are some ideas for your holiday branding photos!
Decorate your space! (or pretend to 😉)
Show us your aesthetic and how you like to celebrate the season. It's also a great way to bring your brand colours in too! But what if your actual holiday decor doesn't match your brand at all? Get a few baubles or garlands that do and bring them out just for your shoots!
Packages tied up with string (these are a few of my favourite things)
If you're a maker show us how you pack orders or what comes in your limited holiday edition gift bundle!
If that doesn't apply to you you could show yourself writing cards to clients, wrapping gifts or whatever the thing is that you show your clients or customers you appreciate them.
Do you offer gift cards?
Let's show them! It's a great photo to use when you're promoting them and talking about them leading up to the holidays.
Don't have them? That's cool - what real-life things have your logo on it that you could use instead? Swap out the gift certificate for a business card in the above photo and you have a seasonal photo to switch things up in your content this month.

Alternatives to bubbly are hot chocolate in cute mugs, cheers-ing Starbucks cups (or your fave local coffee shop), or your favorite seasonal mocktail!
This is also a great one to use for New Years.
It's the season for giving!
Wrap a bunch of boxes to hold, toss in the air and have fun with.
Or ask a friend to join and exchange gifts - better yet make them real presents and I promise you'll get the best reaction photos!

This is the time of year to be a little out of the box, to be silly and playful. Embrace that!
